We entered a little piece of heaven last week. Blackberry Farm is a gem in East Tennessee tucked away in the mountains, with 4,200 acres of beautiful countryside. You truly escape the world, with endless activities and incredible food. The spa is so dreamy, with amazing services and a lounge room that overlooks the mountains. The Barn is for 10 years and up, and is a James Beard award-winning restaurant, where farm to table is taken up a notch. The Dogwood restaurant is family friendly, and serves food all day. We stayed in a cottage in the woods, with the coziest beds of all time and gorgeous fireplaces. Joaquin loved Camp Blackberry, with the most amazing camp counselors and activities. One of our favorite things was visiting the truffle hunting puppies, where Joaquin found his true home with puppies piling on top of him. He also skipped his first rock in the dreamy creek that runs through the property. Another favorite activity was an archery lesson, that Abner and I enjoyed just as much as Joaquin. We had the most amazing and peaceful time. and can’t wait to visit again.
